Team Speak Server

Hey guys!

I have been looking at some hosting solutions for a TS or Vent server (Vent costs money now, so thats out of the picture).

I found that all are very costly if you want to be able to have aroun 50 slots, or even if you only want 25 slots. There is one, where you pay depending on slots: https://www.e-s.se/index.php?p=12

The other solution is hosting the server privately, i.e someone has it on their machine. I have set up a server and I want you help to try it out and see if the bandwidth can take it. (if anyone has a good stable line please let me know)

used to raid with ingame voice chat on my old guild.. was alright

Tomorrow i will try to fix a good ventrilo server for the guild. I will pay for it with private founds so we can have a better and faster kommunikation when we raids and makes progress. i will try to fix one for up to 50 people so we are prepared for 25 man raids and still room for casual/pvp/dota/relaxing

Thats really nice of you Karnacx.
Would be quite nice at our raid, even if not everyone will talk it´ll be far easyer then typeing. Specially when things go bad.

Precisly as Aeth said, it makes fixing problems a little easier with voice communication instead of the good old typing during encounters

Oki thats great why have u not spoken up before if u hosted a vent server for 50 pers for free.....i just paid for 3 month period.....like 38 euro...but this is the kinda of lazyness i hate people sit and waits out for something to happen...but clearly u could spoken up much earlier with urs free host server or ??????

I think he is referring to my comment about the client software costing money to use, which I was clearly wrong about. I don't think he meant he has a server.

We appreciate your work, I'm gonna look into the possibility of other members helping you out on the cost.

Thx mileena for urs kindness. But the vent cost is on me i have np with that....what i have problem with though is people that dont do a shit and then comes and writes really unessary comments when all is settled. If u wanted to help out jereck then do it...but dont do a shit and then after when people putt some effort to help Out and makeing some diffrens for the guild. I try to contribute to the guild i mine way u do it in urs way. i been in the guild for like one week and i suppose i done already more to it than u. I put 700 gold in Guildbank assisted darcy with 700 gold to help him getting a riding skill(Darcy thing was on evvez reqest)..and actually fixed a vent....u been here longer and u have not even bother to assist with urs knowledge about free vent servers. That just pity.

I infact DO give a shit about the guild. I HAVE infact been in the guild much longer than you, and I was merely asking to see what Mileena was talking about as i still use the vent software for free. I said NOTHING about hosting a server myself. but if im gonna get this kind of attitude for making a simple statement... well its just not on.

Let's put an end to this bickering right now. It's a misunderstanding blown out of proportion, nothing we want or need.

Bottom line is: It's a very nice thing of Karnacx to do to front the cash for a vent service for the guild, and he deserves appreciation for it. The guild as a whole is thankful for what youve done, mate, think nothing else!

Let's show our gratitude by using this service as much as possible during raids, and otherwise when we want and need it.

Doesnt really matter anyway now, I left the guild last night due to the little amount of playtime i get. I was just gathering dust in your ranks anyway. and what Karnacx said was kinda the tip of the iceberg for me anyway, I'm sure you werent happy with my raid attendance but Good luck with the future raids and have fun.
